A deep low just south of Iceland is slow-moving allowing pressure to build across the UK. The weak frontal link across Scotland is producing some occasional rain and the trough across Portugal will be swept northwards towards the UK as the flow backs to give some heavy thunderstorms on Sunday over eastern parts.
