Overnight frost and fog patches are likely to develop, fog over central parts of Britain slow to clear at times, so cold in those areas. Later next week, unsettled conditions, with nearer normal temperatures, returning to northern parts of Britain bringing rain and strong winds, these more unsettled conditions extending southeastwards, followed by rather cold, showery conditions to end the period.
